In their weekly podcast, well-known insider Tom Henderson and senior editor of Insider Gaming, Mike Straw, commented on the game’s release date and the expected price from Rockstar.
It is known that as recently as Fall 2025, Rockstar planned to release GTA, but then delayed it once to May 2026 and again to November 2026. However, Tom, like many other insiders and former company employees, is confident that Rockstar will be 100% sure of their Fall 2026 release date for GTA 6 and will not delay it further. Mike also clarified details about the highly anticipated PC version of GTA 6. Considering that initially GTA will be a console exclusive for some time, the release of the PC version is expected much later. Mike expressed the view that it will most likely be released around 2027.
Furthermore, based on various data and calculations, they concluded that the likely price for the game will be **$80**, with premium editions reaching up to **$130**. This is a rather bold decision, as few have dared to sell their games for $80 so far, with exceptions like *Mario Kart World*. The price is high, but if GTA 6 is of high quality, it may be worth it, which will likely lead to extremely high sales figures. However, GTA 6’s system requirements are also quite demanding.
