Sales of the local Chinese version of the GeForce RTX 4080 Super with expanded memory capacity have officially begun.
This new edition of the GeForce RTX 4080 Super comes equipped with a massive 32 GB of VRAM, compared to the standard 16 GB models. Naturally, this Chinese hybrid wasn’t designed with gaming in mind. It’s clear that such a large memory buffer is intended for GPU-driven neural networks, which often exceed the 16 GB limit of standard cards.
The card takes up two slots and is priced at around €1100. In practice, it can serve as the backbone for a moderately powerful system dedicated to LLMs or other AI workloads. Judging by the reported production volumes, these cards may soon find their way to Europe as well. After all, the next closest option with a similar memory capacity is the RTX 5090, which comes in at over €2500.
