Recently, ROCKSTAR decided to lay off 30 employees.
According to official sources, the matter stemmed from the disclosure of information on public forums.
After this, many sources began complaining to ROCKSTAR, claiming they were belittling the work of ordinary workers and sabotaging the creation of a union.
Rockstar, in turn, claimed that the employees in question had disclosed information that was prohibited from being publicly disclosed.
It is known that the employees in question were members of a forum with people not affiliated with the company. Presumably, this was on the Discord platform.
The IWGB and its president claim that the former employees planned to form a union, and also that Rockstar is afraid of unionization within the company. Their president claims they committed perhaps the most egregious and ruthless act of union busting in the history of the gaming industry.
According to information, the only non-company participants at that forum were union activists.
